THE HONORARY DEGREE
The honorary degree and ministerial license are the awards and licenses given by the United State Elect Chamber of Commerce (USECC) & Christ the Rock Bible Institute (CTRBI). An Honorary Degree may be awarded to individuals who have made impact in religious activities, cultural affairs, public service, or in a field of academic achievements. In all cases, reasonable donation to our mission efforts are expected from prospective honorees.

The USECC & CTRBI awards the following honorary degrees:

• Doctor of Laws
• Doctor of Divinity
• Doctor of Ministry
• Doctor of Public Administration
• Doctor of Philosophy
• Doctor of Arts
• Master of Divinity
• Master of Ministry
• Bachelor of Arts
• Bachelor of Science

The President of the USECC & CTRBI or a designated representative confers the Honorary Degrees. The USECC & CTRBI will award several Honorary Degrees in 2021. Recipients of honorary degrees need to have been working or serving in public, private or faith-based communities in the city, state or nation nominated. It is suggested that recommendation of a person to be considered for an honorary degree should be submitted in a timely manner.
The eventual conferral of an honorary degree by the USECC & CTRBI, shall be certified seal evidence issued by both institutions. It shall entitle the person on whom it is conferred a membership of Convocation right to wear the Academic Dress approved for that Honorary Award. Moreover, the honoree shall have the right to refer to himself/herself as “doctor, masters or bachelor” and permit others to do so as well.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT, THE REGISTRATION FEE COVERS ADMINISTRATION & PROCESSING COSTS AND IS NOT REFUNDABLE.

CHECKLIST

• Provide a formal presentation of the 12 items in the “Candidate’s Questionnaire”
• Provide clean copies of all supportive documents
• Provide two passport photographs of the candidate.
• The candidate is expected to make a generous donation payable to “NEW LIFE RESTORATION HUMANITARIAN FOUNDATION” a global relief and aides organization, to pin down the expenses for the preparation of the Award.

What is an Honorary Doctoral Degree?
An honorary doctoral degree is often awarded an individual in recognition of their life experiences. It is usually denoted by the letters “h.c.”, which is an abbreviation for “honoris causa” (Latin for “for the sake of honor”). This means the degree is bestowed as an honor rather than through the completion of certain academic requirements. Those who are honored with this title often do not have any prior connection to the award-granting institution.

Notably honorary doctorates are often awarded by prestigious institutions and universities. They are often given to those who have either made contributions to a certain field, or more commonly as a “thank you” to those who have made donations to the institution.

Additionally, honorary doctoral, masters or bachelor’s degrees can also be awarded by religious organizations. These are called ecclesiastical honorary degrees, and are awarded in disciplines related to ministry and religion. A recipient of an ecclesiastical honorary doctoral degree can use the title of Doctor Honors Causa exactly like the recipient of an honorary degree from Yale University, for example. Similarly, our honorary degrees are also given in appreciation of support of our charity.
