Diminished

By Anger
Numbers 20:3-13

WHAT YOU HAVE BUILT by Skills, Talents & Abilities, you can destroy by your Character.
God shall take this year all character flaws that will compromise and diminish your life of impact in the mighty name of Jesus. You shall arrive at your destiny in grand style in the mighty name of Jesus. Matthew 25:21;

Moses Destiny was to bring Israel’s children, out of Egypt, a land of oppression and bondage, into the promised land, a place of abundance, peace, and rest, but he only succeeded in bringing them out but could not take them in. Deuteronomy‬ 3:23-26.‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

It is not how a journey begins or starts that is critical, but how you end or finish is the key to an impactful life in Christ.

MOSES had a Destiny
“And I have said, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt unto the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, unto a land flowing with milk and honey.” Exodus‬ 3:17‬ KJV‬‬.‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

Locked in every destiny is its fulfillment; it all depends on our decisions and choices.

“Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.” Philippians‬ 1:6‬ KJV. What God has started in your life, He can perform and complete.‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬ God assured him that, He would‬‬ go with him every step of the way.

“And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.” Exodus‬ 33:14‬ KJV.‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

UNDER Pressure
The question that needs asking is, how could a man whom the Bible ascribed the meekest man in all the earth prevented from the fulfillment of his destiny? “Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth.” Numbers‬ 12:3‬ KJV‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

Satan knows your weakness or pressure points, and he will exploit them to their maximum. While God’s grace to deliver abounds, you have to get on your knees before God.

“And the people chode with Moses, and spake, saying, Would God that we had died when our brethren died before the Lord! And why have ye brought up the congregation of the Lord into this wilderness, that we and our cattle should die there?”

Numbers‬ 20:3-4‬ KJV‬. How can one handle this type of harsh words? How do you deal with unappreciated gestures or spirits? How do you cope with supervisors, staff, colleagues, loved ones, and people who see nothing good in you or what you are doing but weakness, evil, and wrong? They never offer words of praise, encouragement, or constructive criticisms, but destructive criticisms.

Unfortunately for Moses, he has had enough, and he lost it. He lost it to the point where it infested and affected his loyalty, submissiveness, and obedience to God. Num.20:10-12; you can cross the line with people, but not with God.

Why Did Moses Fall Short in His Task of taking the Children of Israel into the Promise land?

  1. He took his eyes or focus of the LORD. Romans 8:8;
  2. He Allowed the murmuring and complaints of the people to get underneath his skin;
  3. He had an anger problem, hidden and festering, and did not know it. Nu.20:11;
  4. He acted in unbelief. Nu.20:12;

PRAYER POINT

  1. Father in the name of Jesus, we thank you for your hand upon our destiny, that causes us to finish what you have started in our lives; we reject every scheme and plot of Satan to derail our purpose and circumvent our destiny;
  2. Father in the name of Jesus, any weaknesses whatsoever, in and around us, knowingly or unknowingly, hidden or seen, active or inactive, generational or personal, let your fire burn or scorch it, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ; we release ourselves from any spirit of anger, disobedience and lack of self-control;
  3. Father in the name of Jesus, deliver us from PEOPLE, families, friends, or otherwise, and the plan of those whose ministry is to demean and pull us down; deliver us from any temptation that will provoke us to act in the flesh and outside of your will. 1 Corinthians 10:10-12;
  4. Father in the name of Jesus, help us to focus our eyes on you alone, your words of grace, and rely upon your Holy Spirit that helps us respond to issues and matters striking deep into our nerves; help us stay broken before you at all times, and never to leave your presence in the mighty name of Jesus;
