Impact Grace

Daily Life 11

Impact Grace

Must be Sustained
Judges 16:21-30

THE IMPACT not at Death but in LIFE
“And Samson said, Let me die with the Philistines, and he bowed himself with all his might, and the house fell upon the lords, and upon all the people that were therein. So the dead which he slew at his death were more than they which he slew in his life” Judges‬ 16:30‬ KJV

At Samson’s death, his life impacted the world most, not when he was alive. May this not be your story. May every day in your life bring glory to the Lord. May every day in your life bring people to Jesus. And may every day in your life give people faith, joy, rest, and protection. Could you imagine what Samson would have achieved if he were alive and obedient to God? Could you imagine what the Lord would have used him to accomplish if he was in total compliance with God’s ways? Why must souls be won only at your funeral, when they could while you are still alive? Quite often, and for many believers, the eulogy is where winning lost souls is. May this never be your portion or story in Jesus’ mighty name. Your life must count now while you are alive.

IMPACT GRACE Was Upon Him
The grace of God to achieve great things was on Samson. The hand and call of God to be a deliverer was on him. That was his call and assignment. A prophetic Word went forth at his birth. Judges‬ 13:5; What words of prophecy over your life have gone on, and where are you now?‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

Samson Had the Impact Grace
Samson had the anointing for great things. He had the ministry of impact to change the world, change his people, and make his people proud. He had the grace to deliver them from bondage and slavery. His strength was more than a thousand men. Judges‬ 15:15-16; His strength was more than a lion. Judges‬ 14:5-6‬; His strength was more than steel, to root out and destroy thousands of pounds of steel. Judges‬ 16:3;‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

But Samson had more in Him, far more significant impact than the 1,000 men he slew. His life was cut short. Is that not the story of the graveyard? The cemetery is the wealthiest place in all the world. Why? There you have millions of unfulfilled dreams and visions. There you have men and women of great potentials and possibilities whose lives were cut short.

Why Was Samson’s Life Short of More Impact? He had a weakness; he loved “strange flesh. He abused the Impact Grace on his life, and his life and ministry cut short. Judges‬ 16:21‬.‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

What Was the Cause of His Downfall and Less Impactful life

  1. He refused to listen to parental counsel. Ju.14:1-3;
  2. He was unequally yoked. Ju.16:1,4;
  3. He was reckless with the anointing. Ju.15:1-5;
  4. He broke the Nazarene vow. Ju.16:17;

God’s Word warns us to be careful of the works of the flesh. The battle between the Spirit and the flesh. Gal.5:16-18; the enmity of the flesh. Ro.8:5-8; the greed of Balaam. Jude 1:11.

“Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright. For ye know how that afterward when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.” Hebrews‬ 12:16-17‬ KJV‬‬.
