Quenched
The Violence of Fire
Daniel 3:1-30
HEAT THE FIRE, Seven times hotter. Daniel 3:19 KJV
Some of you are there right now, at the “seven times hotter” Anointing. Why? Because your life is messing the devil up. If everything is going peacefully, lack of challenges, attacks, difficulties, etc., you watch out. Something is drastically wrong.
Apostle Paul says, “For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.” 2 Timothy 1:12 KJV. Acts 14:22;
NO COMPROMISE with Satan
There is a cause why I suffer these things. Yes, as children of God, we suffer many times, not because of our wrongs, ills, or sins. Because of our blatant refusal to serve the devil, cave into his dictates and yield to his demands.
“There are certain Jews whom thou hast set over the affairs of the province of Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego; these men, O king, have not regarded thee: they serve not thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.”
Daniel 3:12 KJV
The years of rolling over, belly up, and play dead mentality with the devil are over. There is no more cowardliness with the Nebuchadnezzar’s of this generation, nor the evil tormentors of our time. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, at the risk of their lives, and grave provocation and death, told the truth. “But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.” Daniel 3:18 KJV.
What Are Those Idols (Golden Image) That We Worship
- An idol is anything that takes the first place of God in our lives;
- Anything that you revere or adore more than God;
- Any person or people that influence you more than Jesus Christ;
- Anything you spend time the most, without the Spirit Of God in it;
- Anything that controls, dictates, and Lord’s over your life;
FAITH Challenged
Shadrach, Meshack, and Abednego’s lives and faith were challenges. Daniel 3:14-15;
God will allow your faith to be tested, pulled out, and stretched this year. Why?
- For your faith life to develop and grow; Ro.10:17;
- God’s character or fruit of the Spirit to manifest. Ja.1-3;
- For you to have a testimony. Jn.9:25;
- To advance you to the next level. Gen.39:20;
- To release the double portion blessings. Job 42:10;
- Create a life of impact. Da.3:29;
Yes, Impact indeed.
THEIR FAITH quenched the raging flame through God’s supernatural intervention. Daniel 3:24-25. It shall be so with you this year in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
THEIR FAITH extinguished the flames of darkness released by Nebuchadnezzar and his people. Daniel 3:29. GOD WILL STAND with your faith this year. Daniel 3:28;
- Father in the name of Jesus, we break every idol in our lives, every Altar of darkness and ancestral spirits that have held on our families (Judges 6:25-27; we denounce every spiritual heritage, lineage, and ties to marine spirits, witchcraft, and demon worship;
- Father in the name of Jesus, grant us the grace to take a firm stand against familiar spirits and spirit of compromise that weakens our faith and opens the door to fear in this hour of COVID-19; we quench the tormenting flames of COVID-19 by the power of the Holy Spirit;
- Father in the name of Jesus, we stand against every conspiracy of Satan to rule and dominate our lives, business, ministry, and the world with His evil schemes, plans, and judgment;
- Father in the name of Jesus, we welcome every fiery trial that Satan might send our way because in the name of Jesus, we shall overcome them all; today deliver your children from every flame of darkness, from the expectations of the enemies, and let them be disappointed in the mighty name of Jesus Christ;
